Dr Dhavalkumar Thakker

Professor in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) at University of Hull, UK

Prof Thakker is a Principal Investigator (PI) on European Commission Funded project on Smart Cities and Open Data REuse (SCORE) with nine European cities and three other Universities. He is also a PI on an Innovate UK Industry 4.0 project on “Automatic Asset Tracking in Building environments”, PI on an Innovate UK funded project on “Artificial Intelligence and UK Immigration law”, and a Co-Investigator (Co-I) on another Innovate UK project on “IoT based smart digital vouchering solutions”. Prof Thakker is an internationally recognized researcher in IoT and Knowledge Engineering. He has organized 10+ workshops so far and numerous conference sessions. Dr Stevan Rudinac

Associate Professor of artificial intelligence for business at the University of Amsterdam, NL

He has worked as a researcher at the University of Belgrade, Eindhoven University of Technology, and the Netherlands Forensic Institute. In his research, he aims at enabling multimedia analytics based on the relevance criteria defined at a higher semantic level, by jointly analyzing visual content and the heterogeneous information associated with it, ranging from text and automatically generated metadata to information about users and their social network. His research focuses on urban computing and business applications.

​Dr Suvodeep Mazumdar

Lecturer in Data Analytics at the University of Sheffield, UK

His research explores developing techniques and mechanisms for reducing the barrier for user communities in understanding very large complex multidimensional datasets. Suvodeep conducts inter-disciplinary research on highly engaging, interactive and visual mechanisms in conjunction with complex querying techniques for seamless navigation, exploration and understanding of complex datasets. He has applied his research in a wide range of application domains such as Aerospace Engineering, Sports Informatics, Crisis/Emergency Management, Smart Cities and Mobility Planning. Suvodeep has worked on several large research and industrial projects funded by the UKRI, European Union, Innovate the UK and European Space Agency.

Mr Rameezraja Kureshi

Lecturer and Programme Director at the University of Hull, UK.

Mr Kureshi has expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and the Internet of Things (IoT) with a strong interest in improving air quality and the environment. He worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Bradford, UK on two European Commission Funded projects LifeCritical and Smart Cities and Open Data REuse (SCORE) with nine European cities and three other Universities. Mr Kureshi is pursuing his PhD from the University of Bradford, UK. Moreover, he is frequently invited to speak as a panellist and keynote at both academic and commercial conferences.
